3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter contracts. By accepting these Terms, you represent that: (a) you meet eligibility requirements; (b) all information you provide is accurate and current; (c) if you accept on behalf of a company, you have authority to bind that company; (d) your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law.
4. Account and Security
You are responsible for: maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activities occurring under your account, immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access, and ensuring your account information remains accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.
5. Subscription and Payment
The Service is offered on subscription plans (Starter, Growth, Scale) with pricing as displayed on citerex.com/#pricing. By subscribing: (a) you authorize Citerex to charge your payment method on the recurring billing cycle of your chosen plan; (b) all fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated; (c) we may change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers; (d) failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination. Payments are processed by Razorpay, Stripe, or NOWPayments depending on currency. 6. Acceptable Use

7. Citation Approval and Brand Responsibility
Citerex provides a citation approval workflow. By using the Service, you acknowledge: (a) you must approve every citation before it goes live; (b) you are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of approved citations; (c) Citerex disclaims liability for moderator removals, downvoting, or community pushback on approved citations; (d) Citerex's contributor network operates under quality controls but cannot guarantee specific citation outcomes or AI engine pickup rates.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Citerex Property
The Service, including all software, design, content, and technology, is owned by Citerex and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service per these Terms.
8.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of brand information, citation drafts, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Citerex a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display that content solely as needed to provide the Service. Content posted as citations on third-party platforms (Reddit, Quora, etc.) becomes subject to those platforms' terms.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CITEREX AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
